While it doesn't make that much difference NOW, but in the interest of accuracy, TZE168V100167 would be a GM interior. so it is (was) NOT a Royale.
From the pictures (the paint) it looks like a 1978 Eleganza II.
It looks like it has Weld wheels that could be 16 or 16.5 inch. If 16 inch, they would increase the salvage value... a little.
I am not sure if the parts that could be salvaged are worth the cost of even LOCAL shipping.... much less the minimum bid of $700.

Yes, transportation is the problem. I would buy it for $700 if that was the only expense delivered to me here in Orlando.

Just a guess, but it appears to have been an engine fire.
When I get Money Pit/Pig to the USABLE state, then I'll
spring for fire protection.

From what little experience I have had with old cars, they are more likely to need a fire extinguisher on ones that are NOT ready to be used than ones that are being used.
But then, most people around the ones that are not ready are a little more "attuned" to what is going on with the motor.

John, is the TZE in your database?
I copied and saved all the photos in case anyone wants them.

Rob,
The coach is listed in the Registry with a notation that it was destroyed by an engine fire in September of '11. It belonged to Jerry Lee of Chula Vista, CA.
And thanks, Russ, for the "inspirational" photos in the listing! I hope all GMC owners, newbies and oldies check this heater problem out...it's easy, and quick to do - just two screws to R&R.
