Hi,
We have a 1975 Eleganza II.While Coming home from a local rally at Farragut State Park in Idaho, my right wind wing just blew off the coach. No damage was done to the coach. The post that holds the wing to the metal piece appears to be broken off.
Has this happened to anyone else?
I guess I'll just replace it.

Floor vents are really great. Certainly a lot quieter than wind wings
at speed.
That said, I do like the wind wings for lower speeds. You can suck a
lot of air in if the wind noise isn't deafening you. And a few bugs,
too. Mine have been on there for most of the 10 years I've owned my GMC.

Ernie,
I found that the screws that held my Ragusa wind wings to the window kept
coming loose and I lost one too.
This past year I drilled the mounting screws that came with them out to
10/32 and tapped them as deep as I could. I used 1" long screws and Loctited
them in.
They ain't goin' no where now!
Regards,
Rob M.
