I saw a yellow GMC pulling a blue/grey Samurai heading towards Payson, AZ this morning. Anyone here?

That would be ME.
Jim Decheine (JADE)
73 Painted Desert in the beginning stages of rehab.
Had it in Ajo, AZ. to get it road worthy and now taking it to cool Pinetop,
7200 ft., to work on inside.
Had an uneventful trip.

Jim,

I still think it is the best looking 23 ft. anywhere!

Good Job Jim! It must have come a long way since I saw it in Feb. It was still on jacks and looking kind of rough at that time! That you had an uneventful trip is a testimony to your mechanical skills.

Carl;
I worked on it pretty steady until about a week ago when I finished the ride
height & 6 wheel alignment.
I don't know if it is the longer wheel base or the Quadra Bag system, but
was impressed the way it handled
compared to the 23' & the 23' handles really good to.
Things are looking up.
