I want to THANK all the men and women who have served and all those have made the ultimate sacrifice and all their parents, spouses, brothers, sisters and friends in all the conflicts our country has seen so we can chase after our obsession of keeping these great beasts going or any other pursuit we would like to. Just the fact we can go on here and ask questions and take or leave the advise or shoot jabs at each other and don't have to worry about retribution or censorship is just part of what many have fought and died for. I'll be the first to say that war sucks but it is a nessasary evil which will always be present as long as there is someone envious of our life and freedoms we have here in USA.I just wish the bleeding hearts in DC would let our men and women do the job they were trained for without fear of being marked as the evil ones when innocents get in the way. Alot of people didn't like LBJ but be had balls to stand up for what he wanted same as Reagan. I had an uncle at Quatalcanal and a cousin in VietNam, both Marines, and saw what it did to them. I'm sure any one who has seen it first hand understands what I meant on my opinion of war. I never had the privelege to serve, the draft stopped right before my number would have gone to the lottery they were doing at that time. I tried to enlist at 17 but my parents wouldn't sign. I guess my mother saw what WWII did to her brother or could have been from visiting her friends when they became gold star mothers (I believe that was the term) and my life went elsewhere after that. Again, THANK YOU.
