I just went and checked our upper a-arms and found no sign
of upper arm contact like you've got. I'm wondering if
there's something weird going on, like maybe the brackets
were welded onto the frame in a different spot, or ???
I'm just guessing here. We did have caliper rubbing at first,
but mostly because of the irregularity of the caliper castings.
A little grinding fixed it and I haven't heard it rub since.
As I understand it, that's not a common issue.
Our coach handles great now -- but then it was terrifying
to drive before. Even at low speeds, it didn't so much drive
as swim. Keeping it in its own lane at freeway speeds was a
white knuckle full time job. Now, it's fine.
It's still a big 6 ton vehicle, but it's not so scary to drive
and you can even do novel things like sip your coffee or
steer around potholes.
I'm thinking we should get together (next rally?) and do
a detailed comparison of all the measurements on both our
coaches. Something is not right.

Karen,
I agree, something is different.
I hit some potholes on Interstate 80 in Sacramento.
They're repaving the freeway and the slow lane is
partially on the shoulder with big chunks of asphalt missing.
Also, here are some photos of the interference between my
brake calipers and Alcoa wheels.

And.... I discovered that the nut on the lower left front
ball joint is loose. I probably was loose since the conversion.
