I have a similar issue. I can start the Onan from inside, but it won't
stop. I haven't looked and anything yet, but I suspect either a loose
connection to the start/stop switch or a bad switch.

I found the onan wire harness to the coach harness connector behind the genset get corroded

�easly, make sure you can pull them apart without damage.

I had to replace mine for that reason. wasn't expensive maybe $3.oo
