I've heard the coaches are 9'9" with rooftops. I was going to spec 10' on a buildout but just found a building with 9' O/H doors. Wondering if that will fit if I deflate the bags. I have the stock OEM Duotherms with the bigger BTU (taller slightly) in the front hole and the smaller OEM in the rear. I don't have my coach near by to measure by myself. Thanks in advance.

John
Here are a couple past postings on the GMC net.
I have a 77 Royale with air conditioner and pod. I know that the height is
just a shade above 9'2" so you should have a good 9'6" to do the job. That
is what I have in my storage garage and it works just great. For length,
you will need not less that 26'9" if you have a spare on the rear. With
that you can get in out of the weather.

I have a 9' door. With the pod removed, a low profile air conditioner and the air bags totally deflated, I can just squeak in. Once in, the 10' ceiling is plenty tall. If I had a choice, I would prefer a 10' door and 11' ceiling.

John,
I have taken 3 different 26' coaches into a self service carwash bay with a board suspended on chains at the entrance that specified 9' clearance. I didn't measure the coaches or the board height.
All coaches had Alcoa wheels, new tires, and roof mounted ac units. I entered slowly and stopped and got out and checked clearance ( I was by my self) as I entered.
If you like the building otherwise; take the coach for a drive and test fit.

Sounds like it might just make it or maybe I can add High lift track to one of the doors. I'm going to take a look at this one as sson as they can get me a showing. Outbuilding is 40' x 165' and only one picture but it is a "barn" style. Can't see if it is a Morton or what. If this works out I hope to also be able to provide reasonable climate controled storage to those of you in the midwest that are interested. There is a floor and loft from what I can see so I don't know how much drop they have on the track from the ceiling right now and how much more clearance there is. Measure twice, deck rooftop shroud once.
