I just installed the steering column lowering bracket. Wow what a great change in the feel of driving the coach.
However, I have run out of adjustment for the PRNDSL indicator. I am.thinking about elongating the adjustment slot or adding some kind of link.
Any suggestions?

Sir: it would probably be easier to slot the hole with a dremell and a cut off wheel.

I replaced the connecting wire with a longer piece of thread (actually heavy duty dental floss), and then indexed the indicator by adjusting the length of the thread, and final adjustment with the slotted attachment.
I agree that the lowered steering column is great, but I still have to come up with a filler piece between the column and the dashboard. I used the Curtis' lower dash panel to finish off my dash, and put in a couple of gauges in the lower panel.

George,
When I did ours a number of years ago I used a piece of the foam piping insulation. I cut it to fit and inserted it in the gap. You can get it in several diameters at the big box stores.

Did you check how much it pulled out the shaft out of the hex sleeve ? That is the usual problem down at the steering box.
