I'm doing a interior remodel to our 78' Royale front kitchen. What Microwave did you use? I would like a micro that is Micro/convection and will fit where the old "Magic Chef" 4 burner with oven was. Also, what two or three burner stove top did you use?

Larry,
I would get a Sharp Model 820. It is one of the best convection/
microwave on the market. Have had one in our other coach for almost 9
years and you can bake and brown in the unit. Works as advertised.
As for a cooktop we have found that a 2 burner is all we have needed
over the years. Lots of manufactures to choose from. I have a glass
topped 2 burner unit made by Dometic in our new coach.

Larry,
I discovered that the four burner cooktop (can't remember the brand) in Double Trouble could be unbolted from the oven. I removed
the oven control valve from the gas manifold and plugged it with a pipe plug. I got a plug that you install in a sink when you've
removed one tap to plug the hole.
Here's a picture of what it looks like:

Please excuse the fact that the doors have not been refinished, eventually they will be.
There is one downside to installing the microwave low like this, you have to bend over to set it as it's hard to see the display.
Neither Helen or I mind that. Mounting it eye level would have been a MONSTROUS project.
Regards,
Rob M.
