If any one wants an AC Delco OEM quality and spec type fan clutch for a GMC, they are available or ebay for $35.00 including shipping.

He has more than 10 available. These are NOT the extra heavy duty 15-4644 ones that a lot of people use because they make a lot of reassuring noise. This is the standard one used in our coaches and are they no longer available from AC Delco. When they were available they cost $50.00 plus shipping about 4 years ago.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/One-New-Fan-Clutch-ACDelco-15-4208-w-Bolts-Instructions-Made-in-USA-/200748955468?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&ha sh=item2ebd91f74c&vxp=mtr

If the above link does not work for you emailers, then just ebay search for 15-4208.

Hmmm... Wonder why they accepted my order for 2 at 5:11 PM?

Alan & I may be disappointed.

Thanks anyway, Ken.

It still shows 4 left at 6pm eastern time--it looks like he added some to the availability list.

I bought one and I don't even own a GMC. Hey! It's cocktail hour in Panama City!

If I don't buy a coach I'll sell it for pass -through costs or make a clock out of it.

The wife says I'm crazy.

If you really need one, it looks like Stick Miller has one or will have one with available with a clock face on it. I do not know if it will have two hands or three.

It appears that the AC 15-4208 is superseded by the 15-4216. I have had my hands on one and haven't been able to proove the previous is true so do not go order one without investigating it for yourself.

I just looked at the listing on ebay and he sold 19 of these in one day. I'll bet he is trying to figure who is buying all of these.

For the price I can't see how you could go wrong with them.

Stick: Have I got a deal for you.. One trip to Ohio on fresh motor, Transmission rebuilt in Ohio and driven home with no issues. extra tranny oil filter and cooler. It runs sweet. 3 year old Goodyear G159s (probably the last set made) on polished Weld wheels. Just needs paint and some interior work. I know you dont want a Project but really; your wife might be right.

I do like that passenger seat. I have a sister that would just barely fit in that. Smile

I just received my fan clutch in the mail today.

IIRC, there is a certain way to store these on the shelf.

Does anyone know which way is correct?

Larry,

I store my spare fan clutch with the shaft and mounting flange pointing up.

I THINK that's what I was told to do.
