Not too long ago there were instructions on building an exhaust extention for the onan out of PVC. I thought I saved it but cannot find it on my computer or under searce. Can someone lead
me to that thread.
Thank You,

I think this is the photo album for the PVC Gen-Turi like device.

...this is WAY TOO Much work and expence (not to mention effort) when you can buy a ready-to-go unit from Camping World for $139.99...comes in a nice black nylon/zip bag to keep everything together. You'd think I worked for these people or something !!
...I dont...in fact they dont even have any stors in Canada...I just think this is a good add on at the right price for all of us...I have one for both of my GMC's.

I buuilt it, but someone else (I forgot who, sorry) posted the pics because I couldn't at the time.  I'll try again tonight.  I used it for a weekend of dry camping in Charlotee, NC about a month back, it worked fine and never got even warm to the touch.  It does increase the noise a bit, since that isn't a problem for me I haven't addressed it.  It is essentially a 4 inch PVC pipe into which the exhaust is directed and which extends to the top of the coach with a brace clipped onto the hadrail around the roof.  $30 or so if you don't have a junk pile of PVC around the garage.  Plus you can get goofy on the cleaner and glue while you're building it.

Them would be the ones.  For those who would like a slightly quieter stack, there are two additions which will help.  First is plug the bottom elbow inlet.  This inlet does scavenge clean air for the upward flow (Test it with a candle sometime), but there should be sufficient upward flow even with it blocked.  The other addition is a six inch cap attached to the top of the stack with a short piece of four inch pipe in the upper fitting which can be as long as one is willing to worry with when putting the stack up.  Fit it in the same manner the bottom 2  inch to four inch adaptor is used.  Take a six to four, and saw it as shown.  This will also give protection from rainwater if you have the stack on the coach when the genset isn't running.

Depends on whether you're a tinkerer or not.  I am - and money would dictate even if I weren't.  Ready to ruide for 140 scoots, DIY for less than 40 plus an hour of your time.  Pick one.
