The owner of Prudentrver sold the buisness. The prices I am now quoted are extremely high and I can not do it. Should you have a bad light, go to the website and click on "return". The new lady should replace the light for you free of charge. If not call me and maybe I can get something done. I have just a few lights left, 6 of the reading lights and 5 of the high power leds. I also have several of the halogen replacements. It was good while it lasted.
Needless to say, I am not a happy camper. Will visit the factory owner next to see if I can work out something. I don't look for that to happen as he is not real interested in the RV buisness.
Oh well, should I run into another US or Canadian maker I will see if I can hook up with them.
Thanks,
Dan

How long did they last?
Everyone says that LEDs should last many times longer than incandescent bulbs.

Cree, a manufacturer of super bright LEDs claims their LEDs
should have at least 70% brightness after 4 years of continuous use.
See Below:
=========================================================
Lumen Maintenance Projections
Based on internal long-term reliability testing, Cree projects XLamp MX-6 LEDs will maintain an average of 70% or higher lumen maintenance after 35,000 hours, provided the LED is operated with a constant current of not more than 600 mA and ambient air temperature around the LED is maintained at or below 85°C.
Please read the XLamp Long-Term Lumen Maintenance application note for more details on Cree’s lumen maintenance testing and forecasting. Please read the XLamp Thermal Management application note for details on how thermal design, ambient temperature and drive current affect the LED junction temperature.

Dan, I'm going to Taiwan in a couple of weeks. There are some high quality vendors there, perhaps I can get some good pricing and see what they have first hand. At least bring some samples and we can rig a test setup to test power cycling and longevity.
I have the capability to manufacture these. Contact me off-net to discuss tomorrow. If you think the market is worth the effort, I know I already have two good salesmen for them (You and Ruff)

Larry, it will "glow". I check everything twice.
Larry, you will need to contact the owner through the website. If you have problems I will try to help. She will not replace for me. I have her email address if you cant find it, just email me.
Teri is glad I am not selling them anymore. I was making no money but I was enjoying hearing back from all of yall that bought them. This is a very good light. I spent 2 years searching for this and now its gone. I have not had good luck from china. Most of them will start popping when hit with 14 volts. These would run from 8 to 30 volts. I saw it with my own eyes. I think Jim K. has a few lights but not many. I set him up as a dealer last year. Never was reimbersed by prudent. Not a big deal. I had fun.
I can not sell what I won't buy myself. These, well, most of you have seen my coach. It is full of them.
Dan

Hello all,
Funny how things change..... The glass light bulbs were better at illumination in my opinion. Far cheaper and they either worked or did not work. Progress ummmmm...

I have several of "Dan's" LEDs, and I can attest to the fact that they do a superior job of illumination than either incandescent or fluorescent lamps.
But the whole point of LEDs is how much battery power you save when dry camping. If you are plugged in all the time, there is NO point in changing to LEDs, but if you dry camp, they are worth every penny in maintaining your battery charge and life.
I'm disappointed that Dan's source of these has gone away, as I haven't had a chance to change out several more of my Fluorescent fixtures to LEDs. I guess it just goes to show it doesn't pay to procrastinate. That's why I upgraded to the 3.70 LSD final drive and the Chuck Aulgur Reaction Arm brakes. You never know when something bad is going to happen to the source of things like that.

Dan,
Double Trouble is not gotten to the stage of revamping the interior lighting so I never got any LED's from you, however, AFAIC to
hell with prudentrver! ;-)

Carl, and others, you can still buy the lights from the prudentrver.com website. Prices have increased.
I am still upset about this. No warning or I would have bought all I could afford. I offered yesterday to make a large purchase if I
could get the prices we had. Answer was no.
Thanks to all who bought them from me. Your happiness with the light was my profit.
Dan
