News of Carrol Shelby passing away was just posted. Love the Cobra and
all the great over the top cars he was the father of. Not a Ford guy at
all, but he was a genius at the go fast.

"Grunpy" Bill Jenkins, long time Chevy go fast guy, also. Sad deal.

That is sad. He lived a long time with his heart and lung transplants. My buddy met him and got his signature on the dash of his 67 350 about 5 years ago. Mine is a normal 65 fastback 4 speed so no signature. But, that is what he really got going on, the early fastback Mustang, along with the little Cobra 289.

Yesterday, I was reading an article about him and the new Mustang 1000.
In it, he mentioned the Cobras and their legacy. He said he liked the
Cobra 289 much better than the 427. Such a larger-than-life person. He
got his monies worth out of this ride!

Jerry Jarden is another one in the group.
He is still alive and is making our exhaust kits.
