Not in this part of the country! Priuses around here drive the same speed as other cars and still get a real, everyday driving experience 50mpg. There are lots of them in Oregon so we see bunches any time we drive to Grants Pass, Medford, Ashland or Portland. My wife purchased one of the first 2010 Prius IV sunroof models when they first came out. Since inception in all kinds of driving (no commuting) and lots of 2 mile trips to the post office and store she is averaging 49.8 according to the on board calculator. Great car.

""So what about when I have my secondaries full open as I am passing a Prius on the right because he refuses to get out of the way?

""

I realize why a Prius gets such good mileage --the drivers all run 20mph under the speed limit :)

Too bad it can't be used as a toad. A hybrid toad - part car / part generator. Put those rolling wheels to work!
