Hopefully near southeast PA. Need a new passenger side and no idea who to trust. Any leads, or do I call the local windshield installers? If so who is a good source to order the glass?
Thanks

Google Ken Grey in Quakertown or Leigh Harrison in Woodbridge. Either will
steer you right.

There is a nationwide rv glass replacement company that will come to you.

http://www.rvglasssolutions.com/?gclid=CLjj6Oqf9K8CFQgJRQodPkesVw

Once when I was on the way to Florida with my GMC someone had a load of gravel and some spilled on the road and broke both my windshields.
I got to Jim Bounds place and those are the people that he called for me.

They were there the next day and replaced the glass and billed my insurance company.
Jim said at the time that they were the least expensive people to install the windshields.

Later that year my father got a broken windshield on his 40' Foretravel and his insurance company contacted the same company and they came out to my folk's cottage in Michigan and installed the windshield right there.

They advertise in the FMCA magazine and come to the FMCA rallies.

Call RV Glass solutions at 888-777-6778.  They have nationwide affiliations with glass installers, they will guarty "crate and freight" as well as protect the installer on the job.  These are the issues that cause windshield installations on motorhomes to cost more.  Having the glass is one thing, but having it properly installed, sealed and the work guaranteed locally is really what it's all about.  If they have questions you cannot answer just tell them to call me.  I do a pile of business with them, they are a big company and you may get someone who is not understanding the GMC-- I'll fix that for you...

Thanks, the RV glass solutions quoted me just under a thousand. That was less than what I paid 10 years ago for the other side!
