Even in this market that seems like one heck of a good price if you want one "bone stock".

My brother and I went and had a look at this one last week. The interior is in really good shape. Everything looked original (except curtains) and had very little wear. The dash was in good shape but appears to be showing affects of being in the sun.
However, the listing is a little misleading when it says this coach has been stored inside for 29 years. The consignment place buffed the paint - too hard in a couple of places and actually cut through the Imron. There was one spot on the back end cap where the fiberglass was slightly damaged - looked like it was backed into something. Also, a crack on the passenger side up by the 260 decal. The roof was well oxidized and appeared to have suffered time in the sun. The decals (stripes) were not in the best of shape. The hubcaps were all bent and scratched and the wheel rims were rough some looking like they had hit potholes or curbs. If it has 28,000 miles, they have been rough miles. CV boots were original as well as the ball joints. Doubt it was 128,000 miles but maybe a few more that 28,000?
The windshields were just starting to fog but not bad yet. The engine started (after a battery jump) and ran good. Transmission appeared to be tight. There were exhaust manifold leaks on both sides and the tailpipe is rusted out. I wouldn't trust the tires much past around the block.
It is a decent original coach but will take some work and $$ to get road worthy. There was no maintenance history or other documentation available. This is just my opinion for what it is worth.

Randy,
Good report!
Here's a trick we came up with yonks ago - the brake pedal is a good
indicator of how many real miles are on the GMC.
Here's a link to a coach that REALLY had 24,799 miles on it:
http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/low-mileage-kingsley/p6388.html
and its brake pedal:

And here's a link to a bunch of photos:

What do they say? If it sounds too good to be true, it probably isn't.

Even if it is a low mileage time capsule, from my experience with cars, it will need a lot of work to make it really dependable.
Belts, hoses, seals, gaskets, anything that can dry out or degrade with time will do so. Engines and transmissions in an untreated state can and will fail. Rust can get anywhere. Hey, I'm preaching to the choir.
Besides, I'd hate to put the miles on it.
I had a 25 yr old Cadillac that belonged to my grandmother. When finally I sold it with 5000 total miles on it, I had replaced a lot of stuff that would have lasted if driven properly AND, I hated to drive it because its real value was in it's pristine, low mileage state.
Give me one that has been worked on and driven and improved upon to the highest standard I can afford.
