If you are calling Jim K. and not getting an answer, he is having both phone and Internet problems at the shop today. I talked to him on his cell phone and he said they believe the problem is in the wiring at the building. They are working on it right now.

So if you are trying to contact Jim K. and do not get a response, just try again a little later, or tomorrow.

I initially thought that Kalifornia finally sank into the ocean and that my Nevada desert property investment would finally have an ocean view and some real value. I'll just have to keep waiting as it is only a few wires screwed up by Ma Bell.

If Kalifornia just floats away then you will still have ocean on both sides. Only it will just be the be the same ocean. Can you say "Kalifornia Island" or "Isle of Kalifornia".

How are you doing Bob?

Ken
Leave California be and add some dollars to your Nevada desert property by building a replacment Mustang Ranch. Hold a GMC rally there that will be the best attended in history.
Just a thought,

Hi Ken,

Regarding Kalifornia, my vision of the major earth disturbance you were referring to would leave Jim K and I on a long, long peninsula stretching from Canada to the end of Baja Kalifornia. That is how we would wind up with beach front property on both the Atlantic and Pacific.

Still here, so I am doing well. They gave me 3 to 5 in 2001 so last year I had my 10th birthday. There are also new drugs in clinical trials that are about to come on-line so I think my Oncologist will be able to fulfill my request which was he has to keep me alive long enough for me to die of old age.

I knew you disappeared from the net for a while and then came back. I'm glad to hear you are getting along OK.

It's midnight here. I'm wondering if Jim K. got his phones fixed. Screw ups like that by Ma Bell usually happen on the week ends. I had one on a weekend where they swapped the data lines between the National Auto Theft Bureau and an Allstate insurance office down the street. That was an interesting Monday morning figuring that one out.

You are correct on the split location or line but I like to think that all of Kalifornia moves west rather that just the part down the fault line.
