Thanks Michael for the link and that's exactly what I'm trying to get here
on the East (Left from Canada, Right from Mexico?) Coast but none of the
"suppliers" like Lowes carries it nor does their warehouse. I sent an email
(twice) this week to Garner-Gibson and no reply so unless you can send me a
couple of pails I'm SOL.

Appears we don't get enough sun here. (:-(

I had learned that UPS, tho not totally innocent of damaged goods, was not always completely to blame....

I ordered some special lighting one time from a RV supplier. The lighting came in but the switches were damaged. I called and they said they were looking for replacement brand of switches because these were not holding up. They sent me replacement switches. I sent for a couple lights again. They came in and this time I paid a lot of attention to how I opened the box and how the fixture was packed.

I shook the box and could hear movement inside. As I opened the end, I looked at the end with no switch as it slid out. When the switch end slid out, the switch was destroyed. I found the problem. Their packing/shipping department did not put packing in to support the switch so the switch was hitting the end of the box and would be destroyed.

I called the rep and told him what I found and that they needed to correct their shipping methods, ( I don't think they liked hearing that from a customer ). He was very surprised that I had come up with the cause of the problem and the solution and said he would bring it up at the meeting.

I've no clue if changes in packing were actually made but it was damage to a fixture that didn't need to happen and it was by the warehouse, not UPS..

A moment in time....
