I'm going to be replacing the instrument panel in our coach (eventually) but in the meantime, I need to add a transmission temperature gauge.
If the world were made of ice cream, there would be inexpensive gauges with a way to set a maximum (or minimum, as applicable) value so that when our 20 something is out with the coach it would be obvious something is wrong because the gauge would light up in red.
Suggestions? Things to look at?
Thanks for your input.

<<< I need to add a transmission temperature gauge >>>
Dolph I just bought my coach a few months ago and hate the location of the Digipanel, just plopped on top of the dash.
But I love my Digipanel.
It has a switch to read transmission temp at two places, in and out.
When something is out of "normal range" the leds turn red and then a loud alarm sounds. Has an additional sw to turn the alarm off, so it doesn't drive you into a frenzy after you are aware of the problem. With the bright red led's and alarm, the panel doesn't need to be in line of sight.
When I got mine, the led at the normal engine water temp was out, a rare failure for an led. Called Art at Digipanel and he quickly shipped me another bar graph and it is goood to go.
An essential product for me.

"Both alarms"?
Did you mean the LED's and the noise maker?

Part of the upcoming engine replacement in my coach will be installing my DigiPanel.
