I figured for $20 this was worth a look. It arrived today, is quite small, made by VDO (German) and looks well made BUT the pump head is held to the body with many turns of DUCT TAPE. I called the vendor who says all they have are this way but her source insists they work just fine. One has yet to find out.

Hey don't knock it. The roller on the shifter bellcrank transfer arm on my Toadstone is a ball of duct tape. VW wanted $102 for the assembly, the plastic roller ball isn't available seperately. The tape works fine.

You only need two things in your toolbox:
WD-40 & duct tape.
If it moves & shouldn't, use duct tape.
If it doesn't move & should, use WD-40.
