Teri and I think we are ready to pull out Thurs about 4 pm heading for Shawnee. I have the tracker running in the GMC so folks can see where we are traveling. aprs.fi is the website that will have our information. Just type in WD0AFQ in the box on the right side of the page to see where we are at any given time. I am taking 2 cameras so should be lots of pictures of the trip and the convention on our blog and on the GMC photosite. Ususally there are others also snapping photos for the photosite. We will do our best to let those who can not attend be a part of what we are experiencing. Hoping for an uneventful 500 mile trip. Right now there is a wall of bad weather over western Arkansas. If the weather is really threatening we plan to wait until Friday to roll. As always we keep our internet running while we travel. Should you need anything special of us just send me an email.
Hope everyone has a safe trip and we will see you this weekend.
Dan and Teri

We will be behind you by a couple of days. Clyde's treatment got cancelled today due to a low white count. I have to take him back on Friday if his count comes up so we will be a day or two late.

Ya I got something I need...Just stop at the first GM dealer you see along the way and pickup the first new Red Corvette you find on the lot. Preferably a 6 speed manual...and oh ya...make sure it has AC. Thanks for offering. Wink

Larry, I will see what I can do if you will make sure Emery gives me and Jim K. prime parking. I can't walk 2 miles to the building. And, some of the older folks don't like the noise my bug makes.

Prime parking??? Kim assigned you a spot inside right next to the main gathering area for vending. I think you will be parking your coach out with the rest of us. Nice inside spot for vendors...secure, great exposure, out of the weather (there has been lots of rain with more predicted) Hope you like it.

Don't forget the Vette...Wink

Larry,

The GMC Eastern States rally the end of April is in Bowling Green -- order a red one and pick it up when you make the rally.

Dennis

My Corvette was a new, red, 76 -- when I went to the bank, I told the VP I could afford large payments but had no money for a down payment. He asked "what car you planning to buy?" and when I said Corvette -- he looked up, glanced all around and moved to my side of the desk. Then he spoke in hushed tones. "What you need is a home improvement loan. Now, what color are you going to buy?"
