On my way to Shawnee I saw a coach being hauled on the back of a Landoll trailer toward Bakersfield on W-58 about 1PM today. I hope that none is stranded. If there is a need to carry something or someone to Shawnee, I would be able to help. I am over night at Needles River RV park. Seeing a coach on a trailer is not a pleasant sight.

That was most likely Chuck Garton heading back to Ridgecrest, CA
Low oil pressure and a rod knock. He did not want to take a chance to continue on to Shawnee. He was running a low mileage rebuild but we will have to wait for the diagnostics.
We won't make it either because of trees down and power line damage from an unusually heavy wet snow here in the foothills of the Sierras. Need to clear some downed trees and reset the power drops once the snow melts.
Glad we have global warming, otherwise I would expect an invasion of the wooly mammoths next

I saw a GMC in San Marcos California yesterday afternoon. It was a very
striking Medium Gold solid color, with a dark Brown or Maroon stripe around
the beltline. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
