If you put solar cells hanging from one edge inside the gmc as a window shade on the side of the sun shinning

would the window alter the power curve acceptance much?

here is someone already thought of this.

I have done some experimenting with this.
My GMC has the tinted windows which is one reason why she is such a heat collector.

The tint does affect the light to the solar panel but it seems a small amount. The problem will be getting the direct sun on the panel and the fact that the panel will be vertical rather than tilted to the suns direct light source.

It will work but before you make permanent installation moves, do some experimenting to see if it is going to be enough charge for what you want.
