He's in good company then as today schools are closed in Chicago for Cazmier Pulaski Day. If you combine the two you get a Polish Ornamental. Never heard a bad note about Jim (or Jim). No matter how hard you try, mechanical things can break or develop problems or get tweeked in shipping, but I've never heard anything other than Jim made it right and even covered shipping etc.

This Ornamental is greatly honored for this day.
Several called and told me lot of great jokes and one lady gave me a
very good phone.
Now that was very cool.
Our customer base has gotten strong as we have most everything the GMC
community needs.
We are in the middle of relocating to anther bldg as the land lord
wants too much for the building.
I walked through our new locations and saw inventory of GMC parts that
shocked me.
We are also shipping our final drive and limited slop units from the
Mid West to save the customers freight.
We sighed with Fed Ex also to ship or packages as UPS has gotten to
where they damage too many and are more expensive.
We have 2 new electric operated side step that tuck in considerably
more than the Ragusa units and yet extend more and are 3 inches wider
as well.
They come from England and Italy. All allies, not like the Red Chinese junk.
I'll have it on my coach at the Convention.
Thank you Brother Miguel, I have had a great day.

We sighed with Fed Ex also to ship or packages as UPS has gotten to where they damage too many and are more expensive.
I have had a couple of very nice conversations with JimK myself and I agree, he is definately working to serve the GMC community and help others as he can.
When I was still in shipping, our main source of shipper was UPS. We found that the UPS hub point, where all the automation takes place to separate and ship packages, was the location where the damage occurs.
I had to devise my own system of packing that would withstand the hard knocks that occurs at that location, and I was successful at beating the automation damages to a great extent.
UPS was pretty hard to get restitution when damage did occur and I can't recall one time when they paid for the damage their hub caused... thats a warning folks. be aware and pack very very well.
Everyone should mark this day on the calendar and the GMC community will celebrate JIM K day every year as a GMC national holiday... hip hip horray for good ole Jim K

So is that why I saw a coach sitting along the fence between Kato and the 880 a few weeks back?
Moving an industrial business sucks. We just moved ours...
Good luck on the new location.

But moving is the only way to do Spring cleaning, and it's spring. The hard part is doing the normal day to day work at the same time! You'll find a lot of "surprize" lost stuff and tools too.

We're recipients, not shippers. That being said, I have never had UPS or FedEx refuse to cover a broken shipment. Since the stuff is always 'In original factory packaging' and we keep the packaging, they don't argue. We >do< insure. The only one they (UPS) wanted to inspect was a proc amp that looked as if somoene drove their GMC over it. They ponied up 12 Large for that one.
