I have a question about the conventions. I am looking forward to all
the tech sessions, but was curious if work was done there. I live a
long way from any of or “support” staff, some of the things I am
talking about is: engine timing, I have installed a throttle body, and
want to verify all is well, AC charge, Hopeful repair of my
awning…Things of that nature.
I am sure if my wallet will allow, the list can grow; just don’t tell my wife!

Dave, Lots of minor work gets done at all GMC Rallies. Don't see anything of a difficult nature on your list. Get Duracool or equivalent for your A/C system. It should be available at the Rally. Need about 3 cans of the Duracool product.
GMC projects are subjects best left un-discussed with the other half of the family, at least the $$$ angle. Smile

David,

Please don't take this the wrong way but it has been my observation that most GMCer's go to the conventions to visit with friends,
attend seminars, see the local sites, enjoy good food, eat ice cream (that was for Dan), etc., not to work on coaches.

As far as the items you mentioned below I'll bet EmeryS will be happy to charge air conditioning system as long as supply or cover
the cost of the Duracool and one of the EFI guys will be happy to help you check out your timing and EFI.

If you arrive with a problem I GA-RON-TEE people will be falling over themselves to help you, I have been at various conventions
where wheel bearings, radiators, and transmissions have been replaced. I had to repair a rear brake on Double Trouble at the DuQuoin
convention last year.

As far as major work goes most campgrounds have rules that do not permit you to do major repairs. I believe arrangements have been
made on occasion with campgrounds to allow work to be done (changing windshields comes to mind) but don't count on it.

By the way if you want to attend a rally where working GMC's is the norm, attend the Dixielanders Bean Station (Tennessee) Rally put
on by Al and Marty Samsel. They even have a pit there!

Regards,
Rob M.
