Does anybody know of a rebuild kit for the Power Level II air bag control. I've isolated my leak down to the valve itself.

First you'll need to identify your valves.
GM did NOT produce a "Power Level II" system. Some replacement valves came with a plate that stated "Power Level II" and I suspect that is what you have.
If your valves are not original, I do not think that the lit from JimK will fit. If they are original, the kit should fit, but I haven't heard of very many getting lasting results from a rebuild. Your results may vary.
As I have not rebuilt any power level valves... someone else will have to provide guidance on that.

OBTW: Are you talking about the dash valves or the ones in the wheel wells?

I presume you are talking about the after market dash valves that were supplied by J R Slaten. I believe they were made in Sweden or there abouts. They are nice valves almost bullet proff. I would contact J R or Jim K can probibly help.

Well this is still a very individual choice, like most everything on the GMC. Simplicity - yes. Final answer - that is an individual decision. Complete function - no, as it does not automatically adjust the ride height. It is a very interesting option that may have appeal for some GMC owners.
What I would be interested in seeing is a line of GMC's, side to side or end to end, all with the wireless system, how many coaches would one transmitter effect? <GRIN>

G'day,
IMHO this system is a fine replacement for someone that has a messed up ELI or ELII as long as they are aware that:
1) You will loose the automatic ride height control system as this system is NOT an automatic leveling system; it is an automatic
pressure control system. As you drive consuming gas the weight of your GMC will decrease and this system will not compensate for it.
2) This system will only deliver 100 psi to the bags, if it takes more than that to raise your coach you will have to fit "bag
risers" that raise the bags which in turn will effect the static height adjustment.
According to the proponents of this system neither of these items makes any difference which I believe, however, people considering
the considering installing the system should be aware of them.
Personally I follow the KISS principle and love Double Trouble's and The Blue Streaks Powerlevel System with no electronics and:
1) JR's dash valves
2) Viair 280C air pump
3) All new nylon color coded air brake tubing
4) All new Parker Hannifin air brake fittings
5) Two rebuilt height control valves from Dave Lenzi
Regards,
Rob M.

I never understoodd why people want to cripple features like automatic leveling.
Mine will air down slightly every 2 hours or so of driving as fuel is used in the tank. Every time I fill up with fuel and drive off, I hear the pump kick in to raise the coach automatically due to the added weight. I also notice that is lets some air out after I dump the black tank. I do not know how much it takes to trip the leveling switches, but one time I stepped into Arch's coach and the compressor kicked in. He said it was because I added 200 pounds to that side. He left the system energized for some reason when the coach was parked.
Why cripple automatic leveling or engine preheat of the hot water tank?
