I assume you blocked it before crawling under? I have no first hand experience with fr*me rot on these coaches(thank goodness). I also am unaware of any frame design differences between the early and later model coaches(if there is any?) Since the camber shims for the bogies are under the top horizontal row of bogie bracket bolts, I assume frame rot in that location would result in more instant camber change than the bogie tongue which reaches underneath. Just for sh+ts and giggles, have you measured the camber shim pack side to side? It could be that the camber shims are disparate enough side to side to cause what you are seeing. I'm sure someone in the know will chime in here. If your coach has wooden wheel wells/ your fame is not rotted/bogies are not bent or sloppy/your plates are centered and symetrical/ camber shims close to the same then all that is left is a difference in wheel well dimensions or the coach body has shifted on the frame.

The plates are identical and centered best as I know but I will try to swap side to side like you suggest. I just went out and crawled under it and looked at the frame. is this corrosion being mentioned visible or is it something that works from the inside out.
