Every time we go anywhere in the coach, my wife slings one of those plastic shopping bags from a drawer as the trash bag. I hate it.
I am positive that someone out there has a visually pleasing and elegant solution to what to do with trash in the coach pending disposal.
Pictures anyone?
Thanks.

Not mine, but this is a neat solution, if you have the room.

I had the same problem. No place for trash. Bags of crap everywhere. I installed a pullout trash can kit from Lowes under the sink, however, I have standard size (household) kitchen cabinets in my coach (also from Lowes)
I am going to also make a holder on the bottom of the door to put recycle stuff in.

I don't use the plastic bags. They do not deteriorate well and under ground in the garbage fields the life span is almost forever.
Its time to think green. That space under the frig is handy and almost unused. So is the space under the sink. Use a cardboard box for a container and use paper bags. Even the paper bag from the fast food place will work. If you need the pull the container out, you can put some decorative paper on it unless you plan to throw the box out as well.
You can further lessen the collection by keeping two bags, one for paper, the other for garbage. When you make a campfire, the paper waste can be used to start the fire or just burn it to get rid of it. You won't beleive how much less trash you will have to get rid of doing this simple thing.

From what I understand paper also lasts forever when buried in a landfill also and takes up more room....

I find good ol 13 gallon hefty bags wlrk fine when slung from a kitchen drawer. Even have my bottle opener over it so the caps fall right in! Life can be so practical sometimes.

That was why I mentioned that the paper products can be burnt to lessen the bulk of the trash. Plastic bags cannot be burnt, if you do you end up with a gooey mess that goes nowhere.

Gatsbys' CRUISER came with one of those wicker baskets that goes around the planter pot, the basket is placed on the step behind the driver with a Paper sack inside, fits well and is handy for trash. Next to the chairs and just across from the couch.
I have a plastic ice bucket, small in size and fits behind the sink on the counter. It has a paper lunch sack in it and is handy for the things discarded when preparing dinner. It is small enough to take out of the Ice bucket and walk to the trash approved containers in the park or rest areas while walking the dogs. Gotta be green these days.

I hate to see discarded trash all over the place but the reality is that 98% (my guess) of the people on earth just drop everything wherever they are at the moment they don't want it any more. I'm glad that we Americans are green conscious but let's not kid ourselves we are not saving the entire world.
