We have 4G in the San Francisco Bay Area and I have to say it rocks.
At least when it's available that is. Out of necessity, we were using
3G as our only internet (from ATT first, then Sprint, who we'll never do
business with again, but that's another story...)

When Sprint turned evil on us, we switched to Verizon and their 4G plan.
Wow. Unbelievably fast. But, it is still new and Verizon has troubles
with it periodically. All the more annoying as it's really easy to get
used to fast internet, and a real bummer when it disappears or drops
to "merely" 3G. Still, we love being able to take the internet with us
when we travel.

And it's a real, real bummer when you go to the hinterlands and drop back
to the EDGE.

You guys on the coasts and in Chicagoland get all the good toys first (and
all the experimentation, too). Oops, did I forget Dallas and the
Metro-perplexed?
