Bob I am impressed, where do you get your power, are you traveling every day so the engine alternator charges the battery most of the time?
The refrigerator I am considering for the boat takes 55 amp-hours per day, more then a 50 watt pannel can provide in a day.

I boon dock exclusively and although I do have a minimal solar panel (around 50W) I too am an energy hog. I use 1 or 2 electric refrigerators depending on how much food I carry and run those off 2 separate inverters. I usually run the microwave off the inverter as well. Just an occasional top off with the little Kipor keeps me going almost indefinitely using 4 6V batts.

I really don't use any juice during the day to speak of other than the fridge(s) which don't run very often. I also don't know what wattage the solar panel is but it is about 36 x 20 so it can't be much. Depending how long I'll be out, I either use my 2000w kipor or my 1000W one and charge via the onboard 55A convertor. I try not to let the batts get below 12.2 but slip once in a while. I found that the biggest energy hog is the furnace and I rarely use it.
