Hi Bob,

I have had a chance to work with the original GMC type and several of the copies. For whatever reason, the original works really well, the copies suffer in one way or another. I am not comfortable using the open frame designs when I am under a coach so do not recommend them. I have no scientific evidence that they are any less capable for our application, but I know the original will work so that is what I use.

Jerry. I have modified the adjustment screws on the current tools that I
make that are marketed by Jim K. I am now turning the end of the 3/4" Grade
8 NF bolt down to allow clearance to facilitate the use of a socket or an
end wrench on the pork chop adjustment bolt. Works much easier now. FYI.
