I hate it when I hit send before I'm really done.
The vehicle you had in question, would that have been the rear engine van that came out when the Corvair did in 1960?

You're talking about the Greenbriar, but there was a large bus up against the back wall that we are wondering about. It's large but not a Futureliner

Rob--I have to read up on the Futureliners again but IIRC there were a couple of generations. Maybe that was one of the earlier ones.

I saw the Corvair Greenbrier, there was a different bus way in the back, red and
silver, I didn't recognize what it was.

Front nose isn't the same as a Futureliner, could it have been a futureliner
prototype?

Bob,
Here is a better photo. It is behind the Corvair section. Sure looks
like a Futurliner to me.

Ray, it looks like some subsequent posys have shed more light on this, but I do recall the first Futureliners looked a lot like this one. However, I also thought that those were later converted to the look that most of us are familiar with. I do know think it is a mock-up, but I'll run over there in January to check it out.

The one to have would be the 'Greenbriar' Corvan in the 8 door configuration. I've seen only one, belonged to Miek Philips in Tulsa, back in The Day. Can you say 'body flex'? I knew ya could. And it surely did, but given the lack of oomph in the Corvair motor and the weight of the thing, the flex was more interesting than dangerous.

Really love the looks on that Corvair van.
Would look nice with a GMC Motorhome.
What is it about the older vehicles.
Nostalgia ???, or perhaps the modern ones can look pretentious.
