WiFi 802.11 b/g
Up to 500 foot indoor range
64-bit and 128-bit WEP encryption
4x LAN 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports
Content filtering and site blocking
Easy, web-based setup
Wireless Antenna

I think the encryption is NOT the latest,
but that may not be a factor for some.

It's rated at max of 54Mbps for 801.11g
and 11 Mbps for 801.11b

Closes at 11pm CST.

The suckers did not even ship my Alfa til Friday, a week after I bought it. Still have not seen it. Wonder if any of the others have received them yet?
My daughter bought one of their 60 dollar tablets a day after I bought my Alfa and she got it Friday. Now, I must say, that was a real bargain for the 7 inch tablet with wifi. Works great.

I bought on 11/28, got a notice on 12/08 that it has shipped. UPS says
it should arrive on 12/14.

I ordered long antennae and booster USB cables after the Alfa and they
arrived days ago.

Dan, I got a tracking notice but USPS says it is not entered so I am just waiting. 14th is Wed so I figure that is when I will get mine. We stole those things. I have been playing with mine and comparing it to a Pepwave repeater I bought. The cheap Alfa receiver is much hotter than the Pepwave. Put an external directional antenna on the little Alfa and you can see routers all over the area.

I ordered one of these routers. Says it won't ship for 7-10 days. I
just figure it will show up sometime in the future...

No the ones I am playing with I bought. Best for money is Pacific Wireless Vagi. 2 yagis stacked. 30 bux. Got 2 of them with one at 50 feet, other one in my living room on a camera tripod, til Teri comes home. Also have a parabolic but it is kinda big and heavy and really a small amount of gain over the vagi. Got a Wilson Yagi but dont use it anymore.

I guys
I'm looking for an inexpensive "Cheep" Wi Fi to hook in to our cable system.
Thanks for your help.
My wife is getting a Kindle Fire for Christmas to down load books.
Thanks
