You said I was putting too much trust in Underwriter's Lab and they don't
hold any Standards for testing .
Check this link and at the bottom are UL Standards ,you can go there Site
and get a complete Set.
If I used this Heater in a Small Area like our Motorhomes ,I would use
forced air from the front of the Couch
And not the Rear where there are Exhausts and Generators running.

Sorry I am so late in responding. Your message did not cluster with the main body of the messages, it was all by itself in the stream...............

Yes, but I did not say UL held NO STANDARD. They just follow the manufacture order for testing.

I agree with placement but anything using power is a drain on your battery. You cannot get away from that.

If you are planning to used the Generator, then a fan can be used but..... if you have exhaust from the GenSet coming inside, a fan will only circulate the problem.

I found one of the leaks at the GenSet is the seal around the box to the side walls. As the Motorhome ages, the middle age droop occurs... this tends to pull the wall away from the GenSet box and the seal opens up allowing exhaust into the motorhome space.

Putting a fan in the front, without pulling in outside air, will only circulate any gasses that can leak inside the coach from the GenSet containment.
Be watchful for this problem.
