All,

At the Goshen rally this past fall I purchased a real nice GMC tee shirt. On the front it says "still the best". I Would like to purchase another one for my father-in-law for Christmas as he was the previous owner of the one we have now. I think he would really get a kick out of having one.

I don't recall who was selling them so I am hoping someone here can point me to the person who sells them.

Jon

Yep, Kim Weeks. She may or may not have anymore. I think Byron was the designer. So warm here today that I have mine on. Very Happy

Dan,
Think those T-shirts were sold by a vendor along vendor's row. Can't
remember the names.

BTW, put on your sweat shirt over your t-shirt and come on over and
play in the SNOW!!!!!

Jon,

Those T-shirts come from a vendor (GMCMI member) that makes them
available. I really don't recall who it is that has them. They also have
sweatshirts available at the GMCMI conventions.

I checked through Gary Bovee's Internet Idiot's Guide and found no listing
for such a vendor (which tells me the guide isn't so complete or the
vendor doesn't have an internet presence).

Sorry, I wish I could help you.

Say, you've never given me a shout when you come to SDF. I'm still waiting.

Dan, I just looked at the weather for Dexter. If you are running around outside in a T-shirt today, you are one tough hombre! Laughing

Hi Jon

Austin and Linda King sold those. They live in Muncie, IN and have no email
address. Phone is 765 then 288 then 2745. They show a winter residence in
Florida starting 12/1 so I hope that phone is a cell.

Yea, you are correct Roger. I was just proud of myself for having my Goshen t shirt on I wanted to brag. I try to get two from each convention. Can't wait to see what the Shawnee one looks like. Build me a snowman. I have seen enough snow for one winter.
Carl, I am tough but have a GMC blue jean long sleeve shirt on too, front open. Just a good day to be a GMC owner.

Shawnee: Can you say The Great Motorhome Pow Wow? Just look at the last
GMCMI newsletter. You'll get a hint about the t-shirt. Another hint, on
the front are a 78 Kingsley, 78 Palm Beach, and a 78 Eleganza II as well
as the GMC logo as it looked in 1978 (which is different from the one of
today). Paul Deesen did the GMC logo used back at that time.

Actually, those were sold by the GMC "Greater Midwest Classics". The Greater Midwest Classics have the proprietary rights to that design as it was created by a a fella by the name of Jim Forte in the mid 90's for the Greater Midwest Classics as our club logo. If you are interested in Tee Shirt or Sweaters with "Still the Best" on them, contact my wife Lucy Weidner (President of the Classics group) and we will see what we can do for you.
