For our friends in the GMC community, Saturday my wife gave birth to my twin boys, Paul Emery and Jack Elliot Knezek. Mom is doing well and the boys, while both in the NICU for some general, non-emergency prematurity conditions, are doing good as well. They were born at 36 weeks and weighed 6lbs 9oz and 6lbs even respectively.

While we probably won't get on the road much this summer, I hope my boys join their big sister Annie as the next generation of GMCers!

Thanks,
Jeremy Knezek

You da man! Congratulations on the new additions to what looks to be one of the most crowded GMCs in Alabama. Let's see...3 kids, 2 adults, a large dog and a parrot. Ever thought about getting a goat? Smile

I look forward to meeting the boys.

Thanks everyone. I worry logistically about getting the 3 little ones in the coach, but we'll figure it out. I cut down some toddler rails to work with the bottom bunk, so that will probably work for Annie and the boys will probably sleep on the dinette with some yet to be created toddler guards. That will work for a few years and then it will be both bunks and the dinette! Good thing we have an original GMC floorplan.

We hope to see you guys again down the road, but probably not this year. Thanks for all the well-wishes.

Travel happy and safe!

Congratulations Jeremy. We have done the GMC with our little ones. The
best we found was to bring along a pack-n-play portable crib. We had one
that would fit between the cockpit seats over the engine. A larger one
would sit on the dinette seats, straddling the gap where the table goes.
We never did find a good way to keep the very little ones safe with any
kind of bumper arrangements on the existing setup (I think the Glenbrook
and Palm Beach layouts are the same).

The real hard part is when the three little ones grow up and you start to
run out of room. My son can't stand up in the GMC now and my middle
daughter is heading to the same place.

And don't forget to take some pictures along the way! They really look
fondly on their memories in the GMC... like replacing the fuel tank valve
with Daddy http://teamteets.com/gmc/DSC03996.JPG

Jeremy,

Congratulations!

This is terrific news, with a bit of training you've got a couple of new GMC mechanics.

Oops I meant three; please forgive me saying two was a sexist remark! ;-)
