Now I know why southren gentlemen need to stay in the south. They aren't
safe on ice. ;>)
A real bull knows better than to try that crazy stuff when it's so cold.
That young one didn't.

That looks like people down south driving when it occasionally snows or have freezing rain. I've seen them do this kind of stuff many times in Virginia, NC, and Georgia. They just go nuts.

I recall a late Fall trip from Walt Disney World, traveling I65 through Indiana. In Florida the temps were60-70's, the locals were freezing, 
I was driving the SOB and I did not notice much going through Georga, or Tennesee. We drove through the mountains and on the other side it was colder.. It was most noticable at the pumps at fill up and at a Kentucky rest area where you have to walk up a long sidewalk to get to the building, it was cold and the wind was bitter on exposed skin.
In Indiana the driving was ok until we were about 2/3s through the state. At one point the traffic was at a crawl, if that. It was dark and you could not see much but the tail lights in front of you and the headlights behind you.
The bridges were ICE COVERED and lucky for us we were crawling down the road with traffic. At one point I pressed the accelerator and felt the rear wheels spin uselessly. I idled through that problem, moving verry slowly to get off the bridge and as we traveled further North toward I94, the roads began to be covered with packed snow as well, much like the ice on the bridges.
We traveled very slowly and found I94 covered with packed snow as well and it took 3 to 4 times longer to finally get home to a driveway that had 24" of snow piled in it. 
If its worse up North, then I'm not going either.
