This is the season to remember your loved ones. If your family is like mine, and I'd bet that many are, they agonize over what to get Dad/Grampa/Uncle etc. for Christmas. how many times have I heard them lament how difficult it is to buy a gift for me.

Well since all want to make their life easier we can help by giving them specific suggestions of tools that you would like to have for your workshop. To be really helpful be sure to specify the tool manufacturer along with part number(s).

I offer this suggestion as a public service.

Thanks Bill

This year I went that extra step and simply ordered the correct items and handed them to the kids to wrap for me......next year I may wrap them for them as well.

I've already bought or ordered my own "gifts" for the season.

Half-inch impact drivers (battery and 120V AC), pair of 6V golf
cart batteries, slide out battery tray for those house batteries.

If it was my list, it would include a 1/4" DeWalt impact wrench! Even
before a 1/2" if I didn't have one.

That's one of the most-used tools in my shop -- much more than even the GMC
Multitool!

Lots of other brands, at lower prices even, are now available; I know
nothing about them and would be reluctant to try anything else after having
the DeWalt for about 3 years with NO trouble at all. I'll admit that I got
it CHEEP on the bargain table at Home Depot or I wouldn't have it. Now,
I'd pay full list price if I had to.

Ha! I bought my next ten years worth of Christmas AND birthday presents, three and a half years ago when I bought the GMC. I've been adding to the "gift" list ever since. Fortunately my wonderful wife, and my four kids, get me a few "small" things anyway. Rolling Eyes

Bought a 3-ton rated aluminum floor jack about two months back!

I assume you're speaking of a 25 THOUSAND pound lift? Not possible.
About two feet of the coach already overhangs about 2 feet of the
sidewalk here!

Steve,

Bendpak makes a 14,000 lb lift that is wide enough and long enough for a 26' GMC with the mirrors on.

Rob,
They are really, really, really, really proud of that lift too. No bang
for the buck there.
