Anyone do buisness with this guy on ebay who sells Ragusa parts?
Lists them for less than list price, but claims list price far more than Ragusa list price so you think your getting a deal.
Just curious.

I could only find one Ragusa part on ebay. You say that he sells "parts". Are there more than one part?

This was a transmission pan. It is sold from Irvine, CA.
I wonder if its Tom Renolds?

It seems to be a good price at $125. I believe they usually sell at $185.

They list most of the cast aluminum parts. Trans pan, final cover, step. Just wondered if anyone has bought from them.

I don't know what site you are looking at but Ragusa does list things on ebay themselves.
They are a family business. The father is Angelo and his wife is Janette. The son's name is Chase. I have forgotten the daughter's name.
The seller id on eBay is "chaser5539." Is this the one that you are looking at?

Bought a cast iron Jack Hook off them, very happy with it.

I also have one of their steps and the license plate bracket that folds down into a step for standing on when cleaning the windsheilds.

My beloved PO installed the Ragusa bumper/license plate step, steps on either side of the bumper, Transmission pan and entry step. I bought their inside door pull. I find their stuff to be of very high quality, though the door pull could use a little more polish.

Ragusa sells direct , but also go through distributors.
they do like us and pop up things on the net to snag sales.
All the GMC shops sell them and we try to stock everything they make.

Jim,

What's the difference between the Rockwell and Ragusa pans? I really like the look of my Rockwell intake manifold and I really like all the Ragusa stuff, but I don't see any functional difference between the two transmission pans.

Larry,
The Rockwell pan is made of finer grit material to avoid leaks.
Also it holds more fluid and hs more cooling fins inside and out.

Stupid Question I'm sure but how do you know how much trans fluid is needed when you use something like a Rockwell Pan? I do want to find a new trans pan hoping to keep it cooler. On avg how much do these types of pans help?

How much extra fluid on avg does it take to use the rockwell pan, and is there a noticeable temp drop?
