Very good price for this excellent product. It's compatible with just
about every USB cellular broadband modem currently on the market. Since it
has an Ethernet port it would also work in a home situation when tethered
to a cable modem or DSL modem. However, don't be fooled by the WiFi speed.
That's only good for transfers within the local network and not indicative
of the speed to a wide area network (cable/DSL/mobile broadband). The
bottleneck when interacting with the Internet is always the speed and
amount of traffic on the Internet connection.

Chris,
As a former Apple systems engineer, I'm going to disagree with you on this
one. The AirPort Extreme wasn't designed with a USB port that could be
configured for mobile broadband connectivity. The USB on the AirPort
Extreme is for sharing a USB printer or connecting a USB-based external
hard drive making the drive a network attached storage (NAS) device that
could be used for Time Machine and Mac OS X.
This Cradlepoint Router has a USB port designed especially for WAN
connectivity when "on the road" or at home.
