The production version of the alignment kit is designed so it can be used with most any wheel that will fit a GMC. All that needs to be done to fit other than Alcoa wheels is to remove the one screw that holds the upper standoff arm to the vertical member and slide the upper standoff arm up or down until all four standoff pins register in the same relative location on the wheel. Drill a new 1/4" hole through both the upper standoff arm and the vertical member, reinsert the 1/4" post nut and tighten the stainless steel holding screw. You can easily restore to the as-shipped screw location for Alcoa wheels in the future if you wish. Takes all of about five minutes to do. The standoff pins are precision machined and self calibrating so you don't need to change anything else. I have reports from some that the kit as is will fit the steel wheels but I do not have a steel wheel to test so can't say for sure. Monday is the cutoff date for the December delivery.
