Anyone remove this thing? I was under the coach yesterday replacing the ground wire from the battery to the engine block and noticed it loose and flopping around on one end. The coach doesn't really seem to need it. My steering is pretty tight.

Chris...you would,nt notice not having the stabilazer much...till you hit a rut or pot hole...thats when the stearing would give a big shudder,,,or remain stable.

I removed the steering stabilizer a few of years ago because it had lots of friction and the steering basically stayed where you put it, the steering wasn't able to move freely. I've driven over many different types of roads, good and bad, and I prefer the way the coach drives without the stabilizer. It seems there is more 'road feel' now as the stabilizer isn't there numbing things up. I really can't say if driving with a new stabilizer would be any better or worse as I've only driven my GMC with either a real sticky stabilizer or none at all and I prefer the none-at-all.
