Ken H. sent me a link to this document; it is chock a block with good info and well worth a scan at the very least.

It not only provides technical information but it a history lesson on the GMCnet and its' contributors.

Reading through this reminds me of the one thing I overlooked until trying
it one day. When the generator won't crank because of a dead house battery,
use the boost switch. Duh!
