I need a 7043254 Rochester that is in good shape or can be rebuilt. Obviously, do no want a warped body.

Charles, I don't think it is; it doesn't look right and he could just as easily taken a picture of the carb number, which is nearby. Emery Stora has located one for me, but I'd still like to get a spare if there is another one out there. Thanks again for your trouble.

Emery has found a 7045254 Carb for me and I've purchased it. In roaming around the Net, there have been a number of postings regarding red power spring for the carb. My local Napa, GM Parts, and local carb shop are no help. Does anyone have this item or know where I can obtain or is it really necessary? The number, obtained from the NET, is 7036019 for it.

If you get an original GMC motor home carburator it should have the correct power valve spring in it. It is much weaker then an automotive power spring enriching the power circuit at around 6" of manifold rather then 10-15" of automotive.

Hopefully, the one I just r'cd from Emery is correct; just to be on the safe side, Dick P. is sending me one of the 7036019 red springs. Thanks.
