We are on the last leg of a two week run (Orlando/Tampa/Panama City/Ashville/Fancy Gap/Crozet/Richmond/Williamsburg..... .
Threw three belts in Rocky Mount on I-95 South. Got towed (using AAA Plus) to a shop that replaced them. Turns out the nut to the A/C mount was missing and that did the deed. Lost a few hours and have stopped for the night in Selma, NC. All appears fine and will push on in the morning.

Well, the day's ride went well. No problems with the belts. ...but again, it looked the problem was the nut that backed off the a/c bracket. One note that I would like to make: be it belts, hoses or what ever. ..... we seem to take it for granted that all GMC motorhomes are equal. After 38 years and numerous PO's, they are anything but equal. and a part that fits of mine might not fit on yours. I use the GMCMHI parts list as a base line. I trust. ....but varify. The belts we used yesterday seem to work for me with plenty of room for adjustment for the stretch.
I'm well tonite at the submarine base campground at King's Bay, Ga. Stopped at the Ga. Pig BBQ in Brunswick, Ga and picked up chopped BBQ and Ribs for dinner. Life is looking up.
