Gene,
Why? Curious minds want to know!
According to other documentation I have (but am too lazy to find, copy, cut, and paste into this message) both bags are rated at 150
psi and IIRC have a burst pressure more than twice that.
Regards,
Rob M.

I don't own it, but I beleve the Quadra Bag runs at about 90 lb. (unless you
are raising for leveling)
we are looking for ways to keep the pressure below 100 lb
thanks

Rob, I believe that some seek lower air pressure because they feel that is
taking a significant load off the air compressor, and gives slightly faster
rise times to the suspension. If there is much of a difference in ride
quality, it would be minimal in my opinion. My best guess and I'm stickin'
to it, purely no scientific data to back it up, probably comes under the
topic of "Bench Racing". When are you going to be stateside again?

Gerry,
Tried PM. System says you're not accepting.
My daughter lives in Hillsbore, Ore.,near Glenn Giere.
I will be meeting her in Elkton this weekend. If you like she can get the risers from Glenn and I can drop thim off in Kerby on my way back to Red Bluff next week.
$1.63 and free shipping. Sounds like a good deal.

Rob: Just from what I know... The KW big trucks have an 8 bag air ride system, 2 bags per wheel and are the best riding truck on the planet. The system has 90lb regulators on the tank outlets for the bags to keep max pressure below 9olb even tho the air tanks have 125lb in them. I have accidently in the past loaded 2 or more loads at the same time and the bags still came to ride height and handled the weight. I am sure the geometry has a lot to do with it along with the huge capacity of the 8 bags. The early systems run 2 leveling valves (1 per side) as the GMC, Later system uses one leveling valve for both sides. Big trucks are usually more weight balanced side to side than the GMC.

Glenn,
Ok, you have a buyer for the bag risers and I am the delivery person.
I need contact info so my daughter can pick up the risers before Friday. She will bring them to me and I will deliver to Jerry.
She lives in Hillsboro. How can we make contact to pick up the risers.

Jim,
In Jerry's case it turned out to be limitations of the Wireless control system.
For the record I replaced all the tubing in Double Trouble's Power Level System and it already had JR's valves two years ago and I
haven't had any problems since. I think I invested a couple hundred bucks in total for the tubing and fittings. I'm going to do the
same with The Blue Streak.
As we "speak" I'm making flight reservations to return to the USA in mid February and plan on staying thru mid April to work on
Double Trouble. It's just too bloody hot in Texas in June to get much done. You start at 8:00 and by noon your dead meat!

Rob M.
