Moved recently and am cleaning out the scrap steel out of the old shop. Purchased a 72 eldo and rebuilt the mtr for my GMC. Should I pitch the old PS box??? What usable parts?? I hate thowing things away but that has bit me in the a## when it came time to move here recently.,,,,,PL

One comment of particular interest: " Although they look very similar they
are left and right castings and the car box casting cannot be used in the
GMC motorhome. However all the inside components of the car box are
the same as the truck and can be used."

Paul,
I was told by the mechanic that converted The Blue Streak to right hand drive that he used a Cadillac steering box so I might be
able to use it.
I'll send you some pictures of what my steering box looks like OFF NET.

Well,,,,it ain't that big. But in 10-15 years I don't want to move it again. If you want it Rob you can have it. How far away is "down under" to ship though. Guess I'll look at the GMC and see for sure if its backwards.,,,,PL
