If the kingslay is the same as the Royale you cannot take the belt mlds off of the sides behind the cockpit and forward of the rear cap as it is a structural joint between the upper aluminum skin and the lower smc panels. Clean existing loose sealant from the top edge and re-seal. The plastic molding you can peel off and replace with aftermarket bodyside mld in a variety of different styles

My question would be how to take it off of a 77 Kingslay??
Front section is 'easy', screws, the rear sections I cant tell how to take it off..need to do it.
