Hi All,
For those of you with parts... I'm now in need of the ignition mechanism for our '73 Sequoia**. In case you are not sure, I'm referring to the control switch box that sits just on top of the steering column - under the dash - that the control rod from the key switch runs down the top of the steering column and slides into. There are two electrical plugs (one white, one brown) that face the passenger side on the switch box.
I do not know which years will interchange. Perhaps someone on the list could help with that.
Thanks,
Lyle
**Don't ask me why I need this. --- However, anyone who needs the internal springs, brass connectors, or one of the three teeny - tiney little ball bearings the thing slides on, is welcome to stop by and search our gravel drive for them.
Note: The bearings are the smallest I've ever seen. Before being inadvertantly "launched" across the drive, I could barely even see them with my glasses on.

Lyle, That's the ignition switch. Should be available at O'Reilly Auto Parts. Ask for BWD - Ignition Switch Part # CS83 $13.49 or for a little more they have Delco.
