This looks interesting, think I may get a set to check out.

Would be very handy and fast to install lights
without stressing about how to get wires to them.

What does the gang think?

Looks like Costco has 3 different versions of these.

Priced from $40 to $69.

Have a look at the owners manuals too.

18 AAA batteries(3 each) for the lights will keep you broke. 25 lumens per light is not very much, 150 lumens total. A 40 watt incandescent is about 400 lumens. I did not see any reference to the color of light, so expect it will be quite blue.

The wireless concept is nice though.

Yeah, what Rob said.

I'm no expert on LEDs but I do have quite a few of the good LEDs from Prudent RVer, that Dan Gregg and John Ruff sell. They are great and provide plenty of pleasant colored light. I also have a few of the stick-on battery powered ones. These look similar and would probably provide enough light to see in the dark, but I wouldn't want to use them for reading, shaving, etc.

Don't do it! A stray signal will turn the lights on and you'll find them
with dead batteries. Yep, been there, done that.

Billy,

Sounds like you know from a bad experience.

Did you get one of these sets from Costco?

Same brand?

Sounds like fun. Get a lot of GMC'ers to install this and then have them all attend the next convention and park close to each other. Grins all around, at least for those that didn't install them. <BIG GRIN>
